BUY ON TOP3DSHOP
The Anisoprint ProM IS 500 is an industrial 3D printer powered by standard Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) and Anisoprint Composite Fiber Co-extrusion (CFC) 3D printing technologies. This 3D printer comes with 4 interchangeable print heads and can handle both filament 3D printing and continuous fiber 3D printing.
Thanks to the swappable print heads, you can print both pure filaments and composites. The print heads also come in handy when you want to reinforce different parts of a part using various composites.
The ProM IS 500 is specially designed for printing high-temp fiber-reinforced plastics. The printer has a build area of 600 x 420 x 300mm and features various CNC components and safety features found in most industrial quality machines. This machine has a drying chamber that can store up to two material coils and an accurate optical filament sensor that will detect missing filament.
The Anisoprint ProM IS 500 is reliable and safe. The large 3D printer can print composite lattices accurately and with the mechanical structures of manufactured fiber plastics. The high-performance printer will help companies to reduce production times while still keeping printing costs down.
Some of the applications of this printer include printing functional prototypes, end-use tools, spare parts and more.

Anisoprint Prom IS 500 Features
Print Quality
The ProM IS 500 is a continuous fiber 3D printer that prints parts with smoother edges and surfaces. The machine can print layers at 60 microns and at 60 cm3/hr in CFC mode. Therefore, you will not only get high-quality models but also save time on the printing process.
Here is an example of a driver fixture printed using PETG.:
Also, Dmitry Pavlenko, a world-record holder para-athlete has benefited from continuous carbon fiber 3D printing. His team has been able to print a buoyancy compensation leer using carbon-reinforced PETG on an Anisoprint 3D printer. Check out the lever below:
Anisoprint ProM IS 500 Materials
The ProM IS 500 comes with a standard extruder that can heat up to 270°C. Therefore, you can print all materials with a processing temperature of up to 270°C. These materials include PLA, ABS, CF/GF filled filaments, SBS, ASA, PC, TPU, PA (Nylon), and PETG.
The print bed heats up to 160°C.
You can customize the printer with an optional upgrade to take its capabilities further. For example, you can install an optional heated build chamber that reaches up to 160°C, a high-temp extruder reaching 400°C, and an FFF print head reaching 400°C.
With the above modifications, the printer will be able to print both PEI (ULTEM) and PEEK materials.
The large 3D printer works with 1.75mm filaments. The company provides 1.5k and 3k Composite Basalt Fiber and Composite Carbon Fiber. These two fibers can be used to strengthen PLA, ABS, ASA, PC, TPU, PA, PETG, glass-filled and fiber-filled filaments.
Anisoprint ProM IS 500 Build Volume
The ProM IS 500 has a build volume of 600 x 420 x 330mm. This is enough volume for printing medium-to-large parts in a single job.
Printer Controls
The large volume 3D printer has a touchscreen with all the operation controls. In terms of connectivity, this printer allows file transfer through both Ethernet and USB.
The printer works with Anisoprint’s proprietary software, the Aura slicer. This software is specifically developed for composite 3D printing. You can use the software to prepare models for both FFF and CFC printers.
The Aura slicer has an intuitive interface and is easy to use. On the software, you can see a preview of how your model will turn out in the final print. For every layer, the software generates fiber trajectories for strengthening your model. You can also customize the strengthening scheme so that you end up with a model that is as strong as you would like.
The Aura slicer is currently available for Windows 7.
