The two Picaso 3D printers differ in color, size, weight and the way the door is opened. For the Designer X, the door opens upwards, while for Designer Classic it opens to the side.
The Designer X 3D printer filament feed system will detect if the filament is fed unevenly, and may affect the print quality. The system will also pause printing if the plastic runs out or the nozzle clogs. After this, you will receive a message and decide whether to continue printing or not.
The Designer Classic does not have such a systems in the basic configuration.

Both the Designer X and Classic 3D printers have glass on top of the print bed. However, the Classic has regular clamps while the Designer X has magnets and glass pushers for easy installation.
An air circulation system is installed in the Designer X print chamber. Thanks to it, uniform temperature is maintained in the 3D printer. This affects how the filament shrinks.
Unfortunately, the Designer Classic does not have such an option.
The basic set of the Designer X comes with Block 400 and a 0.3mm diameter brass nozzle. This allows you to use high-temperature materials when printing. However, for some types of plastics you may need to purchase Block 250.
On the flip side, the Designer Classic has a block 250 and a brass nozzle of 0.5mm diameter. The nozzle is suitable for printing PLA, PETG and others plastics with a melting point of up to 250°C. However, you can purchase a block 400 for the Classic 3D printer to print with high-temperature filaments.
